THE TRACKMAN: Horses to watch, Sha Tin, November 17.

The Trackman gives us his horses to watch at Sha Tin

Simply Spectacular (C425), Race 1

Simply Spectacular has been working readily for his debut run in the Sha Tin opener over 1200m with 13 solos, including a slick gate test last Friday. Trainer David Hall has this Australian-bred International Sale Griffin in forward shape and more importantly he has a fluent action and his coat is blooming. He looks hard to beat.

Furore (C079), Race 7

Exultant could be the one to beat in the G2 Jockey Club Cup but there is plenty to like about the way the Hong Kong Derby winner Furore has been presenting himself in the mornings. He just keeps progressing from two gallops since his last race, and he has come out of that tough run well. He strips fitter for two runs and reunites with Huge Bowman.

Chefano (C297), Race 10

Chefano has been knocking on the door and he looked the part in his final major gallop on Thursday on the turf. He hit the line neatly and was full of himself. He takes a class rise in race 10 over 1,800m but has a light weight. He should go very close.
